Editorial policy
HireHo News is written for job seekers and workers in India. We explain news about jobs and the economy in simple words.
How we write
- Every story with figures lists the sources it uses, and we link to them at the end of the story.
- We check each figure against the source page before we publish. If sources disagree, we say so in the story.
- We summarise reports in our own words. Figures and findings belong to the sources named.
- If a number comes from a trade tracker or from employee accounts, and not from an official release, we say it is an estimate or unconfirmed.
- Each story has a short "what this means for you" section. It is general information, not personal, legal or financial advice.
What we do not do
- We do not publish a figure we could not find in a source.
