What to take from it
About three out of five frontline workers in this report are in Tier II and Tier III places. At the same time, the Tier I share rose compared with last year, so the biggest cities are still gaining. If you live in a smaller city, there is work near you. If you are thinking of moving to a metro, compare pay with rent and travel cost before you decide.
- Check jobs near you first. Filter by your city on HireHo.
- Compare in-hand salary after rent, not only the headline salary.
- Ask the employer whether the company provides accommodation or a travel allowance.
